LOB Static Pages

Two kinds of static pages: CRE and the DW (Dreamweaver) pages, where the term "static" came from the CRE dynamic pages are dynamically generated off the database .

  • The marketing info resides on the one main (front) DW static page, which contains all the marketing info (e.g. long form) and should be applied with apture and spry technology.
  • The CRE static pages are created and managed from Info Manager.
The Marketing Info
Definition of LOB Front or Landing pages
How the top level information of a site should be organized.

This past posting explains our marketing tactic, the "so-called" niche marketing, or as the "precision" marketing. Please not to be confused with our as many as LOBs shotgun approach.

To succeed in niche marketing, we have to identify the problem of our target customer and our solution can and will fulfill their need. Take the CIS for example, we are to target only the SMALL commercial printers, not SMB, not SOHO, not individual.

We need to answer the following for every LOBs:

  1. who is our target customer;
  2. what is their pain;
  3. our superior solution (product and/or services) that we can relief their pain,
Entering the market without superior solution is a guaranteed waste of time and money. For example, our advantage is the customer pay the price of DIY solution but get the DIT service. We passing the quality and saving to our customer via our Internet and business infrastructure to elevate the customer solution space to a higher plane.

The all-in-one marketing page
The perfect work would be only ONE (static) front page - long or short, and get the crucial information of who is going to benefit from our solution and why on this front page. Once the essential information is in the LONG form, then the apture and spry can follow up next.There are lots of Internet (landing page) message in long format, such as the 11 marketingtips product page, and this one.

The detail or subordinate info can be overlayed in wikipedia, video, and picture multimedia format via apture like the CIS Wiki, CIS Installation, and CIS Products.

The detail product and service information can be placed on the CRE static and dynamic pages.
